He is a Muay Thai purist and a training fundamentalist, Matteo do Thai Boxing since 1999.

Mat has been the very first Sardinian boxer to travel for training and fight in Thailand. As professional fighter, he distinguished himself by the percentage of fights won before the limit by “marking” his opponents. From his background are remarkable the long time spent in Thailand, the fight in the IFMA world championship in Bangkok and his international fights.

As coach and trainer, Mat trained and worked on the corner of all level fighters, including professional fighters of Muay Thai and Boxing, Thais included.
